I live in Zürich, Switzerland and work as the Head of Data at Smallpdf. I hold a PhD in Machine Learning and a Masters in Computer Science from ETH Zürich.

Prior to Smallpdf I’ve worked as the Chief Analytics Officer at PriceHubble and as a research scientist at Yahoo and Amazon. I also had a shorter stint in the world of high-frequency trading.
